I am a practicing artist who teaches art and photography in a local high school. I mainly work in gouache paint and a lot of my work is reflective of my surroundings. I am keen to experiment with different materials and love to combine materials to create mixed media pieces.
Since moving to Guernsey 13 years ago I have taken inspiration from the landscape and the way it changes so dramatically with the seasons and the weather.
I use my own photography to work from so that I can capture the mood and the atmosphere of the landscape. This also helps me record the colour, allowing me to work on my paintings in the studio.
