Hello

GAN meets Creative Sark

Guernsey Art Network

Guernsey Art Network (GAN) is a Registered Charity set up by volunteers who are all locally based artists.

We aim to help promote artists who live and work in Guernsey and the Bailiwick, as well as making art accessible to everyone. We do this by organising exhibitions, workshops, talks, walks and much more.

If you are an artist in the Bailiwick and would like an artist profile page, please get in touch.

Figure Drawing for Beginners

With Caitlin Grupping

Figure drawing is one of the oldest art forms. Representation may range from highly detailed, anatomically correct renderings to loose and expressive sketches.

During this fun and relaxed class you will learn drawing fundamentals such as measuring proportions, shading and line work which are transferable skills for any subject matter.

You will also be provided instruction on materials as well as tips and tricks on how to approach difficult aspects of the human form (hands, feet, and faces) and suggestions on next steps for your drawing journey.

Please note - the model will be nude.

Please note that access is from the door in Fountain Street and that the inner street will be closed at this time.
