Textile Artist
My childhood in and return to Guernsey in adult life, and my love for the landscape here, most particularly the area around Fermain Bay, has left an indelible mark and a desire to record marks, shapes, colours and textures suggested by it.
The work is mostly abstract, uncomplicated and contained with suggestions of the unknown or unexplained.
Experiments with media other than textiles, in which I was trained, are producing interesting results, however stitch often finds its way in.
