Painter
All my life I have wanted to paint but I never found the time until suddenly 12 years ago I went to live in Tuscany. It was here that I found time to get started.
I love to paint outside, the deep shadows created in the narrow streets of the medieval town where I lived inspired me. I found that painting outside helped create much of the atmosphere and mood in my work.
To my surprise passers by wanted to buy my work, this encouraged me to find a venue and set up my first solo exhibition which was more successful than my wildest dreams!
Since then I have been fortunate enough to travel, always with my watercolours, visiting many inspiring parts of the world .
I am now living in Guernsey enjoying the challenges here, no two days are the same, the light on the wet sand, the seascapes and the magical rock formations are all inspiring.
