Ariana Heartsong

My love of Painting began at an early age, as I watched my Father create beautiful landscapes in oils, I felt the peace within him, creating in lustrous colour, all that he loved.
My childhood and teens were spent drawing and painting in every moment, learning ways to recreate what I saw, with watercolours, oils and acrylics and I loved to capture the softness and power of feathers and fur. So many projects were completed showing the magic of nature, local birds and animals. When we moved to Australia to live, a whole new landscape opened up to me. I began freelancing as an Artist/Illustrator in my mid 20’s and completed many art projects for Botanists, Biologists, Authors and the WA Govt., Indigenous Departments and WA Museum. People began to Commission my work at this time also.

Around my 30’s/40’s my style of artwork and life experiences changed so much, I began creating with more pure colour and brilliance. I realised my gifts as an intuitive empath from childhood were beginning to show me more. Auras of plants, animals and people began to become visible to me and ethereal figures sometimes came before me. This new level of seeing opened new opportunities and I began to use Pastels. Instant colour to play with. New learning in the application of colour and texture arrived and also a major move to live in the UK again.

Over the years I have sold my work internationally, with artwork in businesses and homes in Canada, Australia, Monaco, France, UK and Guernsey. My new and beautiful home with the love of my life, Graham, is on this beautiful Island of Guernsey. Stunningly beautiful seascape vistas feed my mermaid Soul and inspires me every day to create.
