Gillie’s style has been greatly influenced by the late Charles Jaques and through support from fellow members of Sarnia Arts.
A water colourist by inclination, she uses pastels from time to time and – with some trepidation – has tried her hand at oils. Her greatest enjoyment comes from painting locally en plein air, provided the weather is warm enough!
