Painter
I have painted in pastel, oil and acrylic and indulged in life drawing for years. My style changes when I use different media and I have had a lot of fun with ink and procion dyes on paper. The way I use them gives freedom and energy to the work and often humour too.
In the nineties I had several exhibitions with Liz Adams and Mike Webb at St James. Since then I have contributed to exhibitions at the Coach House Gallery and shared exhibitions there with my sister Jennifer Tucker and also with Suzanne White.
Years ago I enjoyed short courses at Marlborough, St Ives School of Painting and more recently with Margaret Merrit at Glenhyr, Great Missenden and Wheatley.
Currently my main focus is the edge of the sea.
