Sharmane Dodd – Exhibition

Sharmane Dodd, Artist and Illustrator is best known for her wildlife art. During the Skipton Art Festival Sharmane will have a selection of her wildlife paintings exhibited along the corridors of the Princess Elizabeth Hospital (Main corridor by porters lodge). Take a look at her unique wildlife paintings in watercolour.

Sharmane picture of playful puffin's 'Clowning Around' was selected for the Skipton Art Festival, Open Exhibition and exhibited in the Greenhouse Gallery, Candie Museum from April to July this year. The painting had a lot of great feedback but was snapped up by a American gentleman passing through on a cruise ship and the original painting has since made it's way to America after the Exhibition closed.

 

A limited Edition print of 'Clowning Around' can be seen in the exhibition at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital corridors along with other original and limited edition prints of Sharmane's wildlife paintings.

 

Sharmane also has some paintings exhibited in the Small Pictures Exhibition (Guernsey Folk and Costume Museaum) and the Wall of Art (Sula Gallery) during this years Skitpon Art festival through the month of August.

Sharmane has been nominated for the Pride of Guernsey Award as part of the Guernsey Art Network committee as well as her in her own right for her art work and the work she has put into promoting the arts in Guernsey.
