John-Ross Hainey is a locally based professional photographer. Originally born in Guernsey, John-Ross lived in Spain for 17 years, returning to the island ten years ago. In 2010, the day before the birth of his son, John-Ross purchased his first camera. Self taught, John-Ross decided to take up photography as a way to capture precious moments of his sons life.
Through the years he has developed his skills to a professional level, photographing people at events and giving them a chance to freely share his photographs on Facebook to increase recognition in his work. The quality of John-Ross' work showcases perfectly timed compositions with a richness in colour, whatever the subject matter.
John-Ross Hainey can commonly be seen photographing at most local events, documenting life as it happens on the beautiful island of Guernsey.
