Alisha is a local mixed-media artist who uses bright and bold colours to create artwork that explores what it means to be a modern woman in today's society while encompassing themes of nature and the female form.
While working in various mediums, such as digital, mixed media, and drawing, she now mainly paints large, vibrant pieces.
Her work uses bright and bold colours to represent the female form in many different ways. She also incorporates flowers and nature into her work, following an upbringing alongside her Grandmother, who found inspiration in nature.
More recently, Alisha has been focusing on creating artwork that represents what life is like for a young woman, using her and her friends' experiences to create relatable and humorous work. Alisha's goal with her artwork is to make work that starts honest and open conversations about topics often seen as taboo whilst also highlighting the humour found in everyday and adding some light and pops of colour into dark spaces.
