Five years Birmingham College of Art and Craft. ATD Cert Ed. 1965. Won the Cadbury award for life drawing in 1962. Lived in St Ives Cornwall for 30 years.
I taught in a variety of schools over the years, my speciality was always life drawing, I continued to practice my art in New Zealand over the past 14 years since we had a home there for Winter months.
Painting was always a struggle for me, my original study for NDD was ceramics, I just grew too old to cope with heaving bags of clay, consequently resorted to my original love of life drawing.
