Painter
For several years I have been taking commissions to paint portraits. I also document those in the community who play a role in making our island a better and happier place to live.
An ongoing project for me, since 2018, has been my Trailblazer portrait paintings. This is a group of seven women, ranging from a musician, to a scientist and a charity founder - all of whom have roots in Guernsey.
For a few years now, I have also been working on my Flower series of paintings - celebrating and honouring the sometimes overlooked everyday wild flowers we see on our island verges and wild spaces.
In 2020, I co-ordinated a book, called In Living Memory, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Liberation of the Channel Islands. It is a collection of visual arts, essays, poetry and survivor stories. You can see more about my work and ongoing projects here;
