This years theme for the Open Exhibition was 'Island Life' and local artists took to the challenge. An independent Judging panel selected  32 pieces, which capture this years theme.

From the selected pieces the judges also selected one painting as the 'Quay Gallery most outstanding piece in the Open Exhibition'.  They selected 'Here's Looking at Moo' by artist Sharmane Dodd, that captures an expressive close up of a Guernsey cow in watercolour. His excellency Sir Ian Corder, Lieutenant Governor presented Sharmane with her prize on the opening evening.

The exhibitions shows the diversity and talent of local artists and the exhibition will be open throughout the month of August for people to take a look around.
