Skipton Art Festival

The Guernsey Art Network organisers of the Skipton Art Festival are proud to be bringing you the art festival that is in it's third year.

This years festival will see the return of the Open Exhibition and the Wall of Art along with free children and adult workshops and OpenĀ Studio's throughout the month of August and an Renoiresque Interactive Installation for people to take selfies with.

Preparation is in full swing and we are looking forward to the Preview Evening of the Exhibitions on Tuesday 1st of August where his Excellency Sir Ian Corder, Lieutenant Governor and Lady Corder, patron for the Guernsey Art Network, organisers of the Skipton Art Festival will be opening this years festival.

Here are some photo's of the setting up of the Exhibition and what a taster of what you can look forward to in this years festival.

To book the free children's and adult workshops including:- Bouncy Bats, Colour and Pattern, Planning with Bex and I can't draw a straight line. Workshops for all levels, take a look at the workshops available by going to Eventbrite or the Skipton Art Festival website and book your space now to save disappointment.

Artists will be opening their studio's for you to take a peak into where there work is produced and the opportunity to talk to the artists themselves. Take a look at the calendar of events to find 'when' and 'where' you can visit the Open Studio's this year.

Program's are also now available around the Island including:- Iris and Dora and Quay Gallery.
